Shipping Status Update

Due to the high demand on shipping providers and COVID-19 restrictions, our standard times for delivery have not been consistent. Our in-stock items are still shipping out of our warehouse same-day or next day. We know our shipping providers are doing their best with increased demand and extra safety measures due to COVID-19. Please note that delivery times may take longer than expected due to these changes. Also, most carriers have eliminated their delivery guarantees for all shipments, including expedited services.

3/26/20 Update

Regarding the March 25th announcement of Minnesota Governor Walz and the Stay at Home order. Based on our review of the available resources, we are classified as a business essential to the transportation industry. Our plan at this time is to remain open with our current safeguards in place. This is subject to daily review.

03/25/20 Update

Due to the changing economic landscape caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Rigid Hitch Inc. is at this time not accepting C.O.D orders or orders charged to dealer accounts. All orders now are required to be pre-paid with a credit card or check-by-phone/ACH. We realize this will be an inconvenience to some, but given the current economic conditions and staffing challenges we are experiencing, we hope you understand. As always, we appreciate your business and look forward to serving you now and in the future.


During this time of heightened concern for health and hygiene, we want to provide an update on the impact of COVID-19 for our company. From the beginning, we have been listening to the appropriate sources for accurate and up-to-date information, and our preparedness plan reflects those inputs. As things evolve, we will continue to follow the situation and assess risks, we are ready to implement immediate changes to ensure a high level of safety. Rigid Hitch is currently working normal hours. We will continue to communicate with you so you can continue to place orders with us with confidence.

What We're Doing:

  • We’re increasing the frequency of regularly scheduled cleanings and sanitization efforts across our office & warehouse, especially in highly trafficked areas.
  • We’re recommending all employees take precautionary health measures, including frequent hand washing, social distancing, staying home when sick, and pausing all non-essential work travel.
  • We are monitoring new developments so that we can quickly adapt and continue to provide the products you need and the best possible customer service experience.


The WHO, CDC, and other medical authorities state that the transmission of COVID-19 is largely a person to person contact issue. The virus does not transmit via packages in the mail. According to the leading research, it is completely safe to shop online with us like always. Even still, we are taking a few precautions for our health and yours, just to be extra safe!

  • All of our warehouse employees will wash their hands before handling products and packages. They are making extra stops during the workday to wash up as they work.
  • We have stopped local Rigid Hitch deliveries until further notice. Orders will be shipped or available for pick up at Will Call. Just let our customer service team know the method that works best for you.
  • 03/23/20 update: We have implemented a 'contactless' Will Call pickup system. All orders for Will Call must be placed via the web or by calling 800-624-7630. When you arrive for pickup, call 952-736-2200 and we will bring your order outside the will call door and leave it for you.
