To find out if your car can be flat towed and to acquire the proper towing instructions, check with your dealer or owner's manual. It may be necessary to purchase additional equipment, such as a driveshaft disconnect or transmission pump, which can be purchased separately. If these conditions are not met, there could be harm to the towed car or personal injury.
